Goldmund is the solo piano alias of Keith Kenniff, a Maine-born, Berklee-trained composer and multi-instrumentalist based in the United States. Under this name, Kenniff crafts post-classical piano minimalism that has been licensed by Apple, Google, Amazon, Instagram, Starbucks, and Warner Brothers, and his compositions won two Primetime Emmy Awards (2018, 2020) for HBO documentary films. He co-composed the score for the Sundance Grand Jury Prize-winning documentary Blood Brother and the Emmy-nominated Blood Road. Goldmund's music is simultaneously intimate and cinematic — patient, unadorned piano lines that sit perfectly at the intersection of modern classical and ambient. He releases prolifically: the 2025 LP Layers of Afternoon and a forthcoming EP Go Not Against the Wind (June 2026) demonstrate his continued creative momentum. Alongside Goldmund he records as Helios (ambient/electronic), as Mint Julep with his wife Hollie Kenniff, and runs the licensing company Unseen Music, which houses over 300 ready-to-license compositions.
