Bio

Berlin-based DJ and producer Glenn Astro comes from a hip-hop background, fusing house, broken beat, jazz, and disco into rich, spacious grooves that can be fractured, playful, and trippy. He began producing and DJing at age 13 and migrated to Berlin, building a close circle with Max Graef, Delfonic, and IMYRMIND — together they ran the vinyl-only Money $ex Records label from 2015 to 2018. His discography spans Tartelet Records, Ninja Tune (including The Yard Work Simulator with Max Graef), Apollo, and Mule Musiq, with solo LPs like Throwback and collaborations including Turquoise Tortoise with Hodini. Recent 2025–2026 output includes the Vamos! EP on Tartelet's DANCEMPORIUM imprint and a featured remix on Dream Weaver (April 2026). He also operates Crystalline Reality as a festival-facing alias, weaving trance melodies and deep house basslines into peak-time dance music. Bandcamp describes him as someone who makes music, likes music, and secretly runs a few labels — a genre-fluid producer with deep catalog depth and consistent Berlin club presence.
