Glasxs is the indie-pop project of Melis Uslu, a London-based music producer, songwriter, and sound engineer originally from Ankara, Turkey. After studying computer engineering, she completed master's degrees in Audio Engineering at the University of Hertfordshire and Popular Music at Goldsmiths, University of London. She founded Radio Circus Studios (Techno-Entrepreneurship Award winner) and works as a freelance Dolby Atmos mixing engineer and sound designer for film, podcast, and broadcast clients including BBC and MUBI, while releasing her own music on Epic Istanbul (Sony Music Turkey) and Glow Records. Her 2021 album Princess Anxiety (Prenses Anksiyete) earned UK radio award nominations; she maintains a prolific catalog of Turkish and English singles, with recent releases including SARIŞIN (August 2025) and Geriye Dönsen (May 2026). Her sound blends synth-driven indie-pop and alternative textures with influences from James Blake, Radiohead, and Portishead.
