Fur Coat
Fur Coat is the project of Sergio Muñoz, a Venezuelan DJ and producer based in Barcelona who has spent more than a decade shaping melodic techno and progressive house. As a producer and label owner (Øddity Records, founded 2017), he has released two acclaimed albums — including 2020’s Polyphony on Renaissance — and a steady stream of singles and EPs on Balance, Crosstown Rebels, Last Night On Earth, Just This, Systematic, Watergate, Truesoul and Drumcode-adjacent imprints. His DJ craft is built around long-form journeys of melody and emotion, documented in a BBC Radio 1 Essential Mix and a Balance Presents mix CD, with a touring calendar that regularly spans Europe, the Americas, Asia and Australia. Recent 2026 output includes Own the Night / On My Own and Velvet Pain (July), Hidden Lines (June), and collaborations and remixes with Olivier Giacomotto and peers across Truesoul and Oddity. Beyond the booth he also offers track feedback via Echio, keeping a direct line open to emerging producers.
