FM-84 is the synthwave project of Col Bennett, an independent artist and music producer originally from Ayrshire, Scotland and based in San Francisco, California. He broke through with his acclaimed 2016 debut album 'Atlas', a nostalgic, neon-lit record that helped define the modern synthwave sound and is still considered a touchstone of the genre. His productions blend synthwave, chillwave, synthpop and vaporwave, built around lush analog synths and 80s-inspired melodies, often featuring vocal collaborations with Ollie Wride. FM-84 toured across the US, Canada and the UK in 2018-2019 and continues to put out new material, including the 2026 single 'Radio'.
