Flapjaques
Flapjaques — self-described "Chicago lofi authority" — is a lo-fi hip-hop producer and beatmaker from Chicago, Illinois, crafting a wide spread of instrumental beats from soothing study tracks to brighter, Adult Swim-styled bumps. Operating under the Ground Beef Radio banner (his long-running mix series and release platform), he has built a prolific catalog of solo and collaborative jazz-hop, chillhop and downtempo instrumentals rooted in Chicago's house and hip-hop heritage. His music appears across curated lo-fi playlists on Spotify, and he maintains an active beat shop on Beatstars plus releases on Bandcamp and Audiomack. He has played live sets at venues including SRVD Floral Lounge (Chicago) and The Uptowner (Milwaukee) in 2026, continuing a steady release schedule with new singles and albums through 2026.
