FLAKO STIK is the Latin house alter ego of producer Balo — a project born on the US/Mexico border between Ciudad Juárez and El Paso and now rooted in Austin, Texas. Blurring street-level Latin rhythm with global club culture, he transforms percussive grooves, flirty Spanish vocals, and nostalgic Mexican references into sleek tech-house records built for rooftops and festival stages alike. His viral breakout "MARCIANO" earned millions of Spotify streams, an MTV MIAW nomination, and hundreds of thousands of TikTok videos from Karol G to Sergio Ramos; follow-up edits of classics like "Ratón Vaquero" and "Caraluna" pushed his sound into clubs worldwide. The LA RUTA x MÉXICO series and 2025 singles "HER NAME IS JUANA" and "EL ÉXITO" deepened his original catalog beyond remixes, and 2026 opens with FLAKO's HOUSE, Vol. 1 and the April single "LA FRANCESITA" on Beatport.
