Fernando Cubillos

Fernando Cubillos is a Chilean music producer and mixing engineer with 20 years of experience working with artists to develop their sound and create records with a distinctive identity. His approach begins with understanding what makes each project unique and translating that identity into a production with a character of its own, always placing the song, the performance and its emotional impact above purely technical decisions.

His philosophy is simple: production and mixing should serve the song, not compete with it. The goal is to create music that feels powerful, emotional or unforgettable, while allowing the production and mix to remain in service of that experience.

Throughout his career, Fernando has worked in production, recording and mixing for artists including Aisles, Helloween, Mark Farner and Francisco González, among others. His work has taken him to studios in Chile and abroad, including Abbey Road Studios in England and Estudio del Sur in Chile. His credits also extend to film and television, including mixing and music composition for audiovisual productions released across Latin America.
