FENRA is the electronic project of Portland-based producer B Laws — a musician who spent years touring internationally in bands before stripping everything back and rebuilding from sound up. Drawing on influences spanning Caribou, Four Tet, DJ Koze, Burial, Floating Points, Bonobo and Philip Glass, his music occupies the space between atmospheric depth and dancefloor function: melodic, textured, and emotionally precise. Born in Santa Rosa, California, he first fell in love with harmony through church hymns, taught himself guitar at 14, then explored synths, vocals and drums on tours across the US, Europe and Asia before settling in Portland, Oregon. His debut EP Delusional (6X Records, 2025) arrived with premieres on Clash Magazine and Magnetic Magazine, radio support from KEXP 90.3 FM, and a remix from Oliver Schories (Stil vor Talent / Get Physical). His 2026 Chicago EP reworked stems from the original "Chicago" into three distinct moods (AM / PM / REM), followed by singles including All I Need (feat. AUNCE), Emeralds, and FAULTLINE — a handpan-driven organic house cut premiered on Stereofox in July 2026. Mastered by Aneek Thapar (Rival Consoles, Max Cooper).
