Bio

Feiertag is the alter ego of Joris Feiertag, a Dutch drummer, producer and live act based in Utrecht who graduated from the Conservatory of Amsterdam in 2011. Recording and performing since 2014, he crafts a finely balanced blend of organic and synthesized sound — warm electronic textures built on innovative syncopated rhythms, poppy melodies and acoustic fragments from instruments such as the harp and kalimba. His music has drawn support from tastemakers including Kruder & Dorfmeister, Groove Armada and The Knocks, earned playlist status on Dutch national radio, and saw him hailed as 'the future' by DJ Mag. After early releases on Majestic Casual, Last Night On Earth and Kitsune, he found a home at Sonar Kollektiv, releasing his debut album 'Time To Recover' (2021), followed by 'Dive' (2022) and the acclaimed 'Roots' (2023). He continues to release steadily, with recent 2026 singles including 'Heartstrings' and a 'Where I Want To Be' remix, and performs his catalogue as a full live show that bridges electronic production with live drumming.
