He began his career in the mid-'90s with the duo Emanon (alongside Aloe Blacc), and his sample-based production has drawn comparisons to J Dilla, Pete Rock and DJ Shadow. Over the years he has produced for Jurassic 5, Mobb Deep, Kardinal Offishall, Fashawn and many others, and runs the Dirty Science label out of LA. Still highly prolific, he released the album 'Time Heals Everything' in April 2026, continuing a deep catalog of solo and collaborative projects. His instrumental, soul-sampling beat work remains a touchstone for the modern boom-bap and jazz-rap scenes. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/exile-producer#artistas) 28.9M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2018 Verified streams · verified today 28,912,220 +2 K a day · +72 K a month, on average 20 projects · 8 artists · since 2018 spotify 100 % 28,912,220 79 days · Total ## Records [500K has passed 500,000 streams Crumbs Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 26 days ago](https://obra.art/exile-producer/crumbs) [100K has passed 100,000 streams Soul Unusual Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 26 days ago](https://obra.art/exile-producer/soul-unusual) [90K has passed 90,000 streams Shoe Laces Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 26 days ago](https://obra.art/exile-producer/shoe-laces) [90K has passed 90,000 streams In my Window Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 26 days ago](https://obra.art/exile-producer/in-my-window) Most played ## Most played [01 True & Livin' Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 1.521.225 1,5 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/true-and-livin-3) [02 True & Livin’ Blu, Exile, Blu & Exile 1.521.225 1,5 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/true-and-livin-2) [03 Spread Sunshine Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 1.519.923 1,5 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/spread-sunshine-2) [04 Spread Sunshine Blu, Exile, Blu & Exile 1.519.923 1,5 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/spread-sunshine) [05 The American Dream Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 1.507.210 1,5 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/the-american-dream) [06 Miles Away Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 1.260.760 1,3 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/miles-away) [07 Miles Davis Blu, Exile 1.080.165 1,1 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/miles-davis-2) [08 Miles Davis Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 1.080.165 1,1 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/miles-davis-3) [09 Blue Blu & Exile, Blu, Exile 1.060.573 1,1 M](https://obra.art/exile-producer/blue) [10 Growing Pains Dag Savage, Exile, Johaz 989.185 989 K](https://obra.art/exile-producer/growing-pains) Has worked with ## 8 artists.
