A prolific producer for over a decade, he crafts savvy, finely-chiselled instrumental hip-hop deeply rooted in '90s boom-bap and jazz, oscillating between luminous, crystal-clear soundscapes and grittier, gut-driven beats. His catalog spans acclaimed albums such as Souvenirs, Abyssal, Travelers, L'Emprise, Odyssey and 2025's The Groove Chronicles, with a constant stream of singles and EPs. A pillar of the international lo-fi and jazz-beats scene (associated with Chillhop), he regularly collaborates with fellow producers and vocalists including Venuz Beats, Misha, BeMyFiasco and Justin Wyatt. His most recent single, Lunar Funk, dropped in April 2026, and he has performed and spoken at events like Amsterdam Dance Event. Evil Needle releases largely independently across Bandcamp, SoundCloud and streaming, making him a textbook mid-tier producer who would benefit from public, live stream receipts. ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/evil-needle#artistas) 4.7M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2024 Verified streams · verified today 4,660,284 +3 K a day · +89 K a month, on average 20 projects · 6 artists · since 2024 spotify 100 % 4,660,284 84 days · Total ## Records [400K has passed 400,000 streams Want It Evil Needle, Misha 9 days ago](https://obra.art/evil-needle/want-it) [150K has passed 150,000 streams Lunar Funk Evil Needle 30 days ago](https://obra.art/evil-needle/lunar-funk) [40K has passed 40,000 streams On The Bright Side Evil Needle, Venuz Beats 35 days ago](https://obra.art/evil-needle/on-the-bright-side) [30K has passed 30,000 streams Lunatic Evil Needle 35 days ago](https://obra.art/evil-needle/lunatic) Most played ## Most played [01 Better Days Evil Needle 624.071 624 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/better-days) [02 Sonar Evil Needle 561.473 561 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/sonar) [03 Fazed Evil Needle 491.900 492 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/fazed) [04 Ethereal Evil Needle 420.720 421 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/ethereal) [05 Want It Evil Needle, Misha 400.193 400 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/want-it) [06 Early Autumn Evil Needle, Justin Wyatt 362.980 363 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/early-autumn) [07 Your Body Misha, BeMyFiasco, Evil Needle 268.424 268 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/your-body-2) [08 Burning Fire Misha, BeMyFiasco, Evil Needle 172.516 173 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/burning-fire) [09 Lunar Funk Evil Needle 162.745 163 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/lunar-funk) [10 Bring It Back Evil Needle, Misha 78.527 79 K](https://obra.art/evil-needle/bring-it-back) Has worked with ## 6 artists.
