Era (born Jamie van der Velden) is a Netherlands-based music producer and sample creator whose work spans commercial releases, international collaborations, and large-scale sample distribution. Known for structurally precise productions and melodic detail, he builds elements that function as defining components within finished records rather than background layers. Born in Goor, Netherlands, he started producing at 15, became the top-selling creator on WAVS, and has powered over 112 million streams with five Billboard charting credits — including work with Arcángel, Maria Becerra, and CThruRio's "BEFORE THE MORNING."
