El Jazzy Chavo
El Jazzy Chavo is a hip-hop producer and beatmaker based in Athens, Greece, and the founder of the independent label Funkypseli Cave Records ("the record label of the slums"), active since 2013. His instrumental work fuses boom bap, jazz beats, lo-fi and trip hop — hard-knocking drums, fat basslines and atmospheric, sample-driven melodies. He also records under the aliases Balkkan JB and Choppin Mastah. Remarkably prolific, he has put out 100+ releases including beat-tapes and instrumental albums such as "Aspects of Dystopia", "Lower Class Jazz" and "The Art of Dusty Sound" series, most recorded and mixed at the Funkypseli Cave studio. He remains actively releasing in 2026, with the latest single "My Starless Neighborhood" dropping in May 2026.
