edbl is the moniker of Ed Black, a producer, beatmaker and multi-instrumentalist based in Brixton, London. He's one of the UK's most prolific collaborators, having independently released original tracks with over 100 up-and-coming UK artists. His productions are built around live instrumentation - keys, guitar, trumpet and drums - fusing soulful melody, lo-fi hip-hop and neo-soul into warm, organic soundscapes. With over 130 million streams to date, his work has earned support from BBC Radio 1Xtra, BBC Radio 2, BBC 6 Music and Jazz FM. A graduate of the Liverpool Institute of Performing Arts, edbl releases relentlessly - dozens of singles, EPs and live records across 2025-2026, including the album 'Unplugged (Live)' in March 2026.
