E20 Trio is a Swedish production duo — Nils Edlund (aka Nils Holst) and Joel Olofsson (aka VerbPhrase / J Digga) — that blends Akai MPC sampling with live instruments into laid-back jazz-hop and lo-fi hip-hop. Their catalog spans labels including Purple Theory Records, Legacy Echo, Through Manhattan Records, Kandid Records, Chill Moon Music, freshgoodies, Beatmology, Beat Curve, Cheeba Cheeba Records, True School Records and Mysa Records. Recent singles such as Departure (Jun 2026), The Movement, The Light and Driftin' keep a steady release cadence, with collaborations alongside Dankery Harv, Scoob Rock, Saiko, KOHEI YOSHII, Milocero, Even Kicks, jetfueljayy and Pete Penicka. Beyond Spotify they publish on Bandcamp and curate crate-digging playlists (Beats Supreme, Diggin' in the Crates), staying close to MPC boom-bap and jazz-beat culture.
