Douvelle19 is a Newport, Wales–based producer and DJ who bridges UK garage, house, R&B and pop into lovesick, melody-rich club music. After teaching himself production via Myspace mentors and cutting dubplates as a teenager, he spent six years in Sony-signed rap-rock group Astroid Boys before relaunching solo as Douvelle19 in 2018 with the vocal-led D19 EP. His infamous grime-acapella Edits series and singles like "Skin to Skin," "Swimming," and "Find a Way" earned support from Disclosure, Joy Orbison, Salute, Pete Tong and Todd Edwards, leading to RCA Records and releases through 2025–2026 including "Far Away" (June 2026). Raised on everything from Faithless and Arabic pop to drum & bass radio, he writes yearning, soulful hooks over steamy basslines — a sound UKF describes as "lovesick dance-floor bangers" built on authentic session chemistry rather than cookie-cutter collabs.
