DOMPE is the alias of Dominic Wagner, a Berlin-based DJ and house producer who relocated from Cologne in 2011 and has spent more than a decade refining vocal-driven club tracks built around tight basslines and classic house grooves. In 2017 he founded Jackfruit Recordings with his wife as a personal creative playground — the imprint has grown into a steady outlet for his deep house, tech house and jackin' house productions, with more than 25 label releases and chart placements on Beatport and Spotify. His 2019 double-vinyl album Hippie Crack sold out quickly, followed by the French Collection albums, and his Sultan EP with AGENT! was rinsed by Claptone and supported across the international circuit. In 2025 he debuted on Definitive Recordings with a remix of John Acquaviva's Let It Go, and 2026 has been his most prolific stretch yet — singles and EPs including Reload, Tronic, Zero, Confetti and Coffee Cup landing monthly on Jackfruit. Carl Cox, Laurent Garnier, Marco Carola and Richie Hawtin have all played his records.
