Bio

DJ Satelite is an Angolan producer, DJ, and label founder who helped pioneer the global Afro house and kuduro sound. Born in Luanda and now based in Lisbon, he grew up surrounded by the street rhythms of Angola's capital and contributed to foundational kuduro records in the early 2000s before becoming an ambassador of African electronic music. As CEO of Seres Produções — the independent imprint he founded in 2000 — he produces his own catalog and platforms emerging Lusophone talent. His 2025–2026 Raízes trilogy (Horizonte, Caminho, Raízes) with DJ Gálio revisits Angolan roots through Afro house, semba, zouk, and kuduro textures, while 2026 singles like Long Time, N'ditila, and Donkili Ye keep his release pace hot. Support from Black Coffee, Boddhi Satva, and Boiler Room, plus stages at Red Bull Music Academy and Ibiza's International Music Summit, mark him as a working mid-tier producer who bridges Luanda, Lisbon, Johannesburg, and global club circuits.
