DJ Haram is a rap/electronic producer and DJ originally from New Jersey, now based in Brooklyn, NY. She describes herself as a "multidisciplinary propagandist," blending bass and club music, detail-oriented analogue sound design, Middle Eastern instrumentation, Jersey club, and abrasive rap collaborations. She is one half of 700 Bliss with Moor Mother—the duo released the critically acclaimed Nothing to Declare on Hyperdub in 2022—and her debut solo album Beside Myself arrived on Hyperdub in July 2025, featuring Armand Hammer, Moor Mother, Bbymutha, Sha Ray, and Aquiles Navarro. She curates Monday Night Raw monthly at The Lot Radio, previously held a five-year Rinse FM London residency, and has performed at Dekmantel, Berghain, Boiler Room, and Le Guess Who?. Production credits include Armand Hammer's "Trauma Mic," a Fever Ray remix, and high-profile underground collaborations. On June 19, 2026 she released Critical Thot, a collaborative album with rapper Sha Ray on Backwoodz Studioz, featured in Bandcamp Daily's Essential Releases.
