Dj Bey
DJ Bey is the producer and arranger project of Emrah Göktaş, blending traditional Turkish sound with Western electronic theory. Raised with arabesque and early Turkish music, cinema and poetry as touchstones, he builds organic, psychedelic deep and house grooves around Middle Eastern instrumentation — giving international listeners an insider path into Anatolian repertoire while surprising local audiences with a modern touch. His catalogue spans Cafe De Anatolia collaborations and originals such as Harâb, Madan, Mugân and Ahd-ı Aman, plus EPs including Desert Winds, Yaş Düğünü and Şifâ. In April 2026 he released the album Modern Oyun Havaları (Mega Müzik), reworking 1970s oyun havası culture with live ud, kanun, bağlama, clarinets and brass for the dancefloor. Recent remix packages around Shirin (May–June 2026) keep the project active across Spotify, Beatport and SoundCloud.
