Discovery Zone is the experimental pop project of New York-born, Berlin-based musician and multimedia artist JJ Weihl. After teaching herself digital production, she launched the project in 2018 and released her debut album Remote Control in 2020 on Mansions and Millions, followed by Quantum Web in 2024 via RVNG Intl. and an expanded edition in 2025. Her widescreen art-pop blends luminous vocals, hi-definition electro beats, baroque synth flourishes, and immersive 3D visuals — often exploring cybernetics, advertising culture, and the blur between human and post-human. The RVNG signing artist toured with Jenny Hval, Black Marble, and Parcels, and her 2026 album Library Copy Do Not Remove arrived in May on RVNG with a global tour through North America, Europe, Australia, and Japan. On stage she runs a laboratory of instruments and live visuals, continuing the interdisciplinary thread from her Cybernetica commission at Berlin’s Pop-Kultur festival.
