Bio

demotapes is the electronic project of Parker Livingston, a producer and songwriter based in San Francisco who also works in the duo Cassette Tapes. Blending stutter house, UK garage textures, and glitch-infused pop hooks, he broke through with the 2023 debut EP with friends — including the 33 Below collaboration "sedatives" — and has since stacked a steady release cadence through singles like "find u", "Afterlife" with Adam Turley, and 2025's "last night I had this dream". His 2026 run includes "HAND ME DOWNS" with Julian Blu, "ROOM TO BREATHE", and "END OF TIME" with Clearcast, while he sells producer tools via a Splice "midnight" pack and his Soundblocks sample store. Listed on Insomniac's artist roster and active across solo.to, Twitch, and live rooms from San Francisco to Denver, demotapes sits in the sweet spot between bedroom-born internet collaborations and festival-adjacent electronic pop.
