Debit (Delia Beatriz) is a Mexican-American electronic-music composer, producer, DJ, and NYU adjunct professor whose work fuses performance, archival research, and music technologies spanning ancient acoustics to machine learning. Born in Monterrey and based in New York, she has pushed Latin American club music into dialogue with techno and experimental electronics since 2017 — from N.A.A.F.I. classics Animus and System to Modern Love albums like The Long Count (Guardian #3 Global Album 2022). Her June 2026 album Potpourri on N.A.A.F.I. returns to the dancefloor with guaracha-meets-acid-house club music, following singles Assimilate and Tuve suerte. She has performed at Roskilde, Berlin Atonal, MUTEK, the Whitney Biennial, and Venice Biennale while teaching global electronic music and computer-music synthesis at NYU.
