Bio

D Stone (Daan Steenman) is a rising producer and DJ from Amsterdam, blending live instrumentation with electronic production to craft a distinctive take on house music rooted in proto-disco, funk, and deep percussive grooves. Born into a musical family, he started piano at eight, guitar at twelve, and moved into house DJing and production as a teenager — building a sound that bridges true house, proto-disco, and deeper percussive elements, exemplified by his breakout track Total Unison. Selected for Beatport Next Class of 2026, he has released on Semi, Chloé Caillet's SMIILE, Heist Recordings, Cecille, and his own Stone Series imprint, with the Time Selection EP landing in January 2026 and remixes continuing through February 2026. A multi-instrumentalist who combines samples with live keys and guitar, D Stone has earned support from Dam Swindle, Cinthie, Folamour, Barry Can't Swim, and SG Lewis while playing Thuishaven, Shelter Amsterdam, DGTL, and clubs across Europe. His catalog spans disco house and funky house with a producer-first identity built for both dance floors and vinyl collectors.
