Bio

Crackazat is Ben Jacobs, a Bristol-born multi-instrumentalist and electronic producer now based in Uppsala, Sweden, celebrated for his distinctive fusion of jazz and house music. Raised tap-dancing to jazz with his mother, he built strong rhythmic foundations before mastering guitar, bass and keys, and channels that musicianship into deep, soulful, groove-driven productions. His 2015 debut album 'Crescendo' broke him internationally, and he has since released through Local Talk Records and other respected house imprints, with classics like 'Eye Light' and the viral 'Coffee Time' becoming dancefloor staples. His live sets are known for glorious keyboard solos, funky bass guitar and infectious grooviness. In May 2026 he released his latest album 'SUN', a 13-track full-length, following the single 'Nothing But Love' in April 2026. With seven albums and dozens of singles to his name, Crackazat remains one of the most musically literate and consistently active voices in modern jazz-house.
