CON THE ARTIST is the pop project of Conan Karpinski — a South African-born producer, composer, and songwriter based in Toronto, Canada. He writes and produces genre-bending pop with emotionally rich songwriting, blending indie, alt-pop, and modern R&B production into hook-driven singles and EPs. A multi-instrumentalist and former frontman of Soul Push, he has toured internationally and opened for acts including Kodaline, Cold War Kids, Simple Plan, and Avril Lavigne. Beyond his own releases, CON produces and writes for collaborators including Ash Molloy, Nicole Amoroso, and Transit22, with sync placements on Netflix, HBO, Apple TV, and Disney+. He is also an award-winning film composer whose orchestral works have premiered at VIFF, the Chinese Theatre in LA, and Harvard's Arts Museum, and a graduate of the Canadian Film Centre's Slaight Music Residency.
