Renowned South African deep house and AfroTech producer/DJ based in Johannesburg, Chronical Deep rose to national recognition with his 2019 breakout track Neo. A former Godfathers Of Deep House SA sound engineer and co-founder of WayUpMusic, he builds emotionally rich, spiritually charged club records that helped push South Africa's homegrown dance scene onto the global stage. His catalog spans Stay True Sounds releases and collaborations with Kabza De Small, DJ Maphorisa, Sun-El Musician, Latique, Mörda and more, including the 2023 Light album. In 2026 he has stayed highly active with singles such as Bring Me More Bass, Thulisa, One Love and Light (Clapback) ahead of his forthcoming H.O.P.E album — a project he describes as centered on healing, faith, love and overcoming life's challenges through sound.
