CashMoneyAP (Alex Christian Jean Petit) is a French-Guadeloupean record producer based in Los Angeles, born May 19, 1995. A pioneer of the YouTube type-beat era, he built his career uploading instrumentals in the style of major rappers and parlayed that following into A-list placements: he produced Pop Smoke's 'For the Night' feat. Lil Baby & DaBaby (top-10 Billboard Hot 100, 2020), Pop Smoke's 'Gangstas' (top 40), Lil Skies' 'Nowadays' (#55 Billboard), and NLE Choppa's 'Slut Me Out' (top-40, 2022). His producer tag is one of the most recognisable in modern hip-hop. Beyond beats-for-rappers, he releases his own catalogue — debut album 'Rare Form' (2020), follow-up 'Parallel' (Feb 2026), plus singles like 'CLASE G' and the Polo G/NoCap collab 'No Patience'. He runs his own imprint Cash Gang, is signed to Universal Music Publishing Group, and is widely credited as one of the trendsetters of the modern online beat-leasing economy.
