Bio

Cash Only is the production and DJ alias of Matt Wilcox, a UK house and garage producer rooted in the pirate-radio and UKG culture he discovered as a teenager in the mid-1990s. After years building community projects and running Sam Divine's DVINE Sounds imprint as label manager, he returned to the studio with a versatile sound that blends driving house, Afro-inspired grooves, and nostalgic garage energy — earning releases on Nervous, Upcycle, Stashed, and his own Famous When Dead Records. His 2025–2026 run includes festival sets at Glastonbury, Defected Croatia, Ministry of Sound, and ADE, plus a steady stream of singles such as "Trust In Me," "Rotation" with Holly Ellison, and the May 2026 two-track "Something Something." Supported by Sam Divine, Mark Knight, and Major League, Cash Only sits in the sweet spot of an active, professional producer with a growing catalog and a genuine community around his music.
