Calvin Fallo
Calvin Fallo (born Katlego Mashilane) is a South African DJ and producer from Mamelodi, Pretoria, with a career spanning more than a decade. He is widely credited as one of the early architects of amapiano — his 7-minute track "Yellow, Yellow" is cited as a forerunner of the genre's jazzy, keys-driven 'inumber' style, layering live keyboard solos over deep house. He signed a publishing deal with Universal Music Publishing in February 2021. His sound blends amapiano, 3-step, afro-tech and private-school piano with soulful melodies and live instrumentation. He released the 8-track album "Blueprint" in February 2026 (featuring Lady Zamar, Junior Taurus and Snow Deep) and followed up with the single "Everybody Wanna Be In Love" in April 2026. Frequent collaborators include Kevin N, Musical Xhepard, Cozy Keys, Stevie Da Producer and Lady Zamar.
