Bio

Brothertiger is the chillwave and synth-pop project of John Jagos, a one-man producer originally from Toledo, Ohio and now based in Brooklyn, New York. A fixture of the chillwave scene since 2010, he writes, produces, performs and mixes everything himself — lush analog-synth textures, gated drums and dreamy vocals that bridge 1980s synth-pop with modern bedroom electronica. He is remarkably prolific, with nearly 60 releases on Spotify including the studio albums Paradise Lost, the self-titled Brothertiger and 2025's Paradigms, alongside his ongoing ambient 'Fundamentals' series. He is also known for full-album reinterpretations of classics such as Tears for Fears' 'Songs from the Big Chair' and Fleetwood Mac's 'Tango in the Night.' With roughly 118K monthly Spotify listeners and a devoted following, Brothertiger remains an actively touring and releasing artist, most recently turning in remix and collaboration work in 2026.
