Originally from the north of England and based in Brighton for over two decades, he holds a degree in Sound Art from Brighton University and spent a decade composing ambient music for film and TV before finding his home in dance music. With over 35 million Spotify streams, his sound layers atmospheric textures and distinctive percussion, drawing on a love of progressive house, breakbeat classics and the moody nostalgia of influences like Depeche Mode, Sasha, Digweed and Boards of Canada. He has released a steady stream of EPs and singles on Anjunadeep, Colorize and Bedrock, and debuted his first ambient EP, 'Bloom', on Anjunadeep's sister label Reflections. In 2024 he opened the Splendor Stage at Anjunadeep Explorations. Of his music he says, 'I just hope they feel something — it's up to them to add their own mood or meaning to the song, it's theirs now.' ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/braxton#artistas) 18.8M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2022 Verified streams · verified today 18,822,318 +19 K a day · +563 K a month, on average 20 projects · 15 artists · since 2022 spotify 100 % 18,822,318 85 days · Total ## Records [400K has passed 400,000 streams Karuru Falls Braxton 20 days ago](https://obra.art/braxton/karuru-falls) [250K has passed 250,000 streams Track II Braxton, Rromarin 22 days ago](https://obra.art/braxton/track-ii) [40K has passed 40,000 streams Landslide - Braxton Remix Island Hill, Panthera Krause, Braxton 22 days ago](https://obra.art/braxton/landslide-braxton-remix) [300K has passed 300,000 streams Lighter Than Love Steven Weston, Braxton 24 days ago](https://obra.art/braxton/lighter-than-love) Most played ## Most played [01 Dapple Jody Wisternoff, James Grant, Braxton 7.244.925 7,2 M](https://obra.art/braxton/dapple) [02 The Summit Braxton 2.608.515 2,6 M](https://obra.art/braxton/the-summit) [03 The Truth Braxton, Warung 1.272.117 1,3 M](https://obra.art/braxton/the-truth) [04 Sunshine Sound Quelle, Braxton 643.463 643 K](https://obra.art/braxton/sunshine) [05 Reunion Braxton 511.401 511 K](https://obra.art/braxton/reunion) [06 Where We Should Be Sound Quelle, Tailor, Braxton 459.846 460 K](https://obra.art/braxton/where-we-should-be) [07 Karuru Falls Braxton 403.874 404 K](https://obra.art/braxton/karuru-falls) [08 Singularity Braxton 376.684 377 K](https://obra.art/braxton/singularity) [09 Our Own Island Sound Quelle, Braxton 333.642 334 K](https://obra.art/braxton/our-own-island) [10 No Horizons Braxton, Rromarin 311.551 312 K](https://obra.art/braxton/no-horizons) Has worked with ## 15 artists. and 1 more Catalog ## 20 releases. 2026 2 [AnlectaSound Quelle, Braxton · 1,5 M](https://obra.art/braxton/anlecta) [There's Still Time / Green To GoldBraxton · 281 K](https://obra.art/braxton/theres-still-time-green-to-gold) 2025 6 [LandslideIsland Hill, Panthera Krause, Braxton · 109 K](https://obra.art/braxton/landslide) [No Horizons / Track IIBraxton, Rromarin · 581 K](https://obra.art/braxton/no-horizons-track-ii) [Tidings (The Mixes)Jamie Stevens, Nick Warren, Braxton, Nicolas Rada · 241 K](https://obra.art/braxton/tidings-the-mixes) [Dapple (Braxton Remix)Jody Wisternoff, James Grant, Braxton · 7,8 M](https://obra.art/braxton/dapple-braxton-remix) 7,8 M [Singularity / ForestBraxton · 581 K](https://obra.art/braxton/singularity-forest) [On The Shores Of A Happy Sea / Karuru FallsBraxton · 649 K](https://obra.art/braxton/on-the-shores-of-a-happy-sea-karuru-falls) 2024 9 [Falling EPBraxton · 160 K](https://obra.art/braxton/falling-ep) [FallingBraxton · 64 K](https://obra.art/braxton/falling-2) [Reunion EPBraxton · 3,2 M](https://obra.art/braxton/reunion-ep) 3,2 M [Bloom EPBraxton · 142 K](https://obra.art/braxton/bloom-ep) [Remember MeBraxton · 62 K](https://obra.art/braxton/remember-me-2) [Via FermiGai Barone, Braxton · 38 K](https://obra.art/braxton/via-fermi) [Between The Stars / Taking FormBraxton · 380 K](https://obra.art/braxton/between-the-stars-taking-form) 380 K [Lanes EPSteven Weston, Braxton · 238 K](https://obra.art/braxton/lanes-ep) [TightropesBraxton, Adam Butler · 137 K](https://obra.art/braxton/tightropes) 2023 2 [The Truth / The FallBraxton, Warung · 1,4 M](https://obra.art/braxton/the-truth-the-fall) [Where We Should Be (Braxton Remix)Sound Quelle, Tailor, Braxton · 728 K](https://obra.art/braxton/where-we-should-be-braxton-remix) 2022 1 [Lighter Than Love (Braxton Remix)Steven Weston, Braxton · 478 K](https://obra.art/braxton/lighter-than-love-braxton-remix) Catalog · Notes · Curatorial Bio Braxton (real name Danny) is a British DJ and electronic music producer who has been signed to the beloved independent label Anjunadeep since 2019.
