Braxton (real name Danny) is a British DJ and electronic music producer who has been signed to the beloved independent label Anjunadeep since 2019. Originally from the north of England and based in Brighton for over two decades, he holds a degree in Sound Art from Brighton University and spent a decade composing ambient music for film and TV before finding his home in dance music. With over 35 million Spotify streams, his sound layers atmospheric textures and distinctive percussion, drawing on a love of progressive house, breakbeat classics and the moody nostalgia of influences like Depeche Mode, Sasha, Digweed and Boards of Canada. He has released a steady stream of EPs and singles on Anjunadeep, Colorize and Bedrock, and debuted his first ambient EP, 'Bloom', on Anjunadeep's sister label Reflections. In 2024 he opened the Splendor Stage at Anjunadeep Explorations. Of his music he says, 'I just hope they feel something — it's up to them to add their own mood or meaning to the song, it's theirs now.'
