Bnnyhunna (Benjamin Ankomah) is an award-winning Dutch-Ghanaian producer, composer and multi-instrumentalist who grew up in Southeast Amsterdam. Raised on church music, his sound fuses jazz, hip hop, R&B, Afrobeat and gospel-rooted funk, drawing inspiration from Fela Kuti, Kanye West, John Coltrane and Pharrell Williams. His 2024 debut album ECHOES OF PRAYER earned international recognition and won the 2025 Edison Pop Award for Soul/R&B/Funk. In March 2026 he released his second album PSALM FUNK on Belgian label Sdban Ultra, a record rooted in gospel harmonies and energized by smooth funk grooves and fluid jazz improvisation, also issued on coloured vinyl. Beyond music he works across photography, video and poetry, and continues to tour European venues. He self-produces a growing catalogue of albums, EPs and collaborative singles with artists such as Braxton Cook.
