Bio

Blake.08 is the electronic music project of Sydney-born producer Blake Gilray, known for an upbeat, breakbeat-driven take on melodic house that balances underground credibility with broad appeal. After years producing independently — and an earlier chapter as half of Human Movement — he debuted on Anjunadeep in March 2023 with the High Fidelity EP, followed by the fan-favourite Eyes Ablaze EP and a collaboration with Jody Wisternoff on BLAM. His debut album From Sydney With Love (August 2025) is a deeply personal homage to his hometown, featuring collaborators Claxy, Nathan Ball, Seduna, Soschi, and Gaz. June 2026 brings Velour, a new single with Gabriel & Dresden, while the deluxe edition of the album landed in December 2025. Blake has toured Anjunadeep Explorations, Open Air Dubai, and the label's debut Australia tour, earning praise from James Grant and support from Solomun, Lane 8, Ben Böhmer, and Tinlicker. Based in Gadigal Land/Sydney, he writes and produces from his home studio — music designed for movement, whether driving or dancing.
