Bio

Blackadder is a Nottingham-based electronic producer whose journey into music began during COVID lockdowns — a casual Ableton experiment that turned into an obsession and a career pivot from finance to Audio & Music Technology at Confetti (Nottingham Trent University), where he graduated with first-class honours in 2023. His music sits between downtempo, electronica, and club-leaning ambient, blending groove, texture, and emotion with synths, field recordings, foley, and cut-up acoustic samples stitched together like sonic collages. Shaped by synaesthesia — he experiences sounds as colours and textures — his work draws from Bonobo, Maribou State, Burial, and Kiasmos. Signed to Stereofox Records, his 2025–2026 run brought BBC Radio 1 and 6 Music airplay, Deezer and YouTube Music editorials, and over 11M TikTok views; debut single "Save Me" passed 100k streams in weeks, and 2026 singles like "Traverse" and "Polygon" continue his momentum.
