BIJOU is the stage name of Ben Dorman (born April 25, 1990), a Phoenix, Arizona-born DJ and producer who pioneered the G-house sound — a gritty hybrid of hip-hop energy and classic house grooves that became one of underground dance music's defining aesthetics of the 2010s. He made his breakthrough with the 2016 single 'Hello' alongside Dr. Fresch, a track that caught the ears of Diplo, Lee Foss, and MK, and subsequently released acclaimed tracks like 'Kung Fu' (9.6 million Spotify streams) and 'I Know' (7.6 million streams). BIJOU founded his own label Do Not Duplicate Recordings (DND RECS) and the HMWRK Academy online music production school, demonstrating his commitment to building the wider creator community. His track 'Mamacita' gained massive exposure when FISHER played it repeatedly at Tomorrowland 2025, bringing his music to a new audience of millions.
