Because of Art

Bio

Because of Art is the alias of London-based producer Alex Grover, who has quickly established himself as one of dance music's hottest new talents, drawing attention from ravers, DJs and tastemakers alike. He has had successes across the entire spectrum of dance music, from his rave-inspired collaboration with Antony Szmierek 'Circle Of Light' — championed by BBC Radio 1, BBC 6 Music and Pete Tong, and featured on Spotify UK's 'Altar' and 'New Music Friday' — to his breaks-driven 'Elevate' on Danny Howard's Nothing Else Matters, which spent over six weeks atop Beatport's Leftfield House & Techno chart with support from Sasha. His music has landed on revered labels including Anjunadeep, Sasha's Last Night On Earth, Stress Records and Gruuv Recordings. Behind the decks he is a growing name on the circuit, sharing bills with Franky Wah, Simon Doty, Sven Väth, Dusky and Anja Schneider at venues like Motion Bristol and Egg London. With 230k+ monthly listeners and a steady run of EPs — most recently 'Thinkin' Bout You' (April 2026) — he blends melodic house, progressive house and breakbeat into a sound that's equally at home in editorial playlists and on the dancefloor.
