Bawrut is an Italian-born, Madrid-based producer and DJ whose sound fuses house, disco, indie-dance and acid into a hypnotic, club-ready blend — summed up by his own motto: "Disco never died, it just went underground, had a baby, and named it house." His early releases on Ransom Note Records won support from tastemaker DJs including Jackmaster and Erol Alkan, with press coverage from Mixmag and DJ Mag. He runs his own Silencio imprint and has released across respected labels such as Hard Fist, PETS Recordings and Permanent Vacation. Through 2025 and into 2026 he has kept up a near-monthly release pace of original singles and edits, cementing his place as one of the most distinctive voices in the European indie-dance and acid-house circuit.
