Bård Berg
Bård Berg is an Oslo-based producer, drummer, and DJ who has become one of the most exciting names on the Norwegian electronic scene. Trained at the Norwegian Academy of Music, he blends jazz drumming with hip-hop and house influences — smooth, flowing club music with sharp pop instincts. His Oslo Beats series (2019–2025) mapped the city’s sound across three acclaimed volumes, with Oslo Beats Vol. II named one of GAFFA’s Top 10 Albums of 2021. The Linje 18 EP on Stereofox Records turns Oslo tram line 18 into a cinematic jazz-house journey, while 2026 releases keep the catalog moving. Featured on NRK P3, Spotify editorials (Jazz House, Electropolis), and sync placements including Netflix, Berg also drums and produces for leading Norwegian artists and runs the collaborative Oslo Beats project from his Carl Berner studio.
