Bio

Karabo Lephoto, known professionally as Bandros, is a DJ, producer and events curator from Katlehong on the east side of Johannesburg, South Africa. Originally introduced to audiences as a deep house DJ, he has since carved out a signature voice in amapiano by blending the genre's soul with deep house grooves, lounge serenity and a distinct Brazilian-influenced flavour of heavy basslines, log-drum programming and jazzy chords. He released his debut studio album 'Brenda' in late 2023 (named in tribute to his mother), followed by 'Teboho' in December 2024 and 'Never Stop The Music' in October 2025. His catalog spans private school piano, 3 step and gqom, with collaborators including Lolo SA, Mally, Mzu M, Ciniso, DJ ALE, Kailey Botman and Steve.Artchild. Outside his releases he runs his own bookings and events brand at bandros.co.za, and is recognized by Okayafrica and the South African press as one of the rising amapiano producers shaping the sound of 2025-2026.
