Bio

Banaati is the project of Benjamin Banati, a melodic house producer from Gothenburg, Sweden. Growing up during Sweden's electronic golden era — Avicii, Swedish House Mafia, Alesso — he started composing as a teenager to escape long Nordic winters, developing a signature blend of deep, progressive, and melodic house with immersive atmospheres and euphoric chord progressions. Since his 2021 Monstercat debut (Choir Of Angels EP), he's built a catalog across Purified, Soave, Songspire, Silk, and Sekora — the Dutch label where he now serves as lead A&R for the Sekora Chill imprint. Standout tracks like "Elevate," "Lifetime," and "Embers" have earned support from Tiësto, Armin van Buuren, and Martin Garrix, while his meticulous synthwork and warm mixdowns keep him in rotation on major chill and melodic house playlists. Magnetic Magazine named him Artists to Watch in 2026, citing his consistency across releases and his role shaping Sekora's next chapter.
