Balanka is the creative alias of Gabriel Veiga, a São Paulo-born Brazilian producer and DJ whose bass-driven, psychedelic-tinged deep tech and minimal house has broken through the global underground. His breakout single "Real Smooth" on Shout Label peaked at #4 on Beatport's Minimal / Deep Tech chart and held the Top 10 for months, earning support from Michael Bibi, Jamie Jones, Marco Carola, Vintage Culture, and Mau P. Releases on Repopulate Mars, DOSMUNDOS, Shout Label, Take Notes, Collecting Dots, and Short Circuit span hypnotic minimal grooves, dark tech-house rollers, and more experimental psychedelic textures.
