Drawing cues from El-B, Breakage, Zed Bias and Calibre, he cut his teeth on Leeds dancefloors (SUBDUB, Wire Club, Old Red Bus Station), co-founded the Triptych nights, and broke out with the Take it Further EP before collaborations with Capo Lee (AM To PM), Champion & Jamakabi (International Man), Sam Binga and his brother Breaka. Named DJ Mag Breakthrough Artist of 2023, a Warehouse Project resident and the first artist signed to their label, he has played Glastonbury, Boomtown, Outlook, Boiler Room Melbourne and a Phonox residency. His 2025 debut album Tribute on Warehouse Project Records is a love letter to pirate radio and UK sound-system culture, followed by 2026 singles including I Can't Believe I Loved Her (The Rainfall Mix). ## Has worked with [Explore all credits](https://obra.art/bakey#artistas) 8.1M Total plays & views Projects20 Since2022 Verified streams · verified today 8,101,780 +6 K a day · +186 K a month, on average 20 projects · 15 artists · since 2022 spotify 100 % 8,101,780 70 days · Total ## Records [90K has passed 90,000 streams Tribute BAKEY 23 days ago](https://obra.art/bakey/tribute-2) [300K has passed 300,000 streams Serious Mic Man - Bakey VIP Mix BAKEY, Capo Lee 31 days ago](https://obra.art/bakey/serious-mic-man-bakey-vip-mix) [40K has passed 40,000 streams I Can’t Believe I Loved Her (The Rainfall Mix) Peven Everett, BAKEY 31 days ago](https://obra.art/bakey/i-cant-believe-i-loved-her-the-rainfall-mix-2) [40K has passed 40,000 streams I Can’t Believe I Loved Her (The Rainfall Mix) Peven Everett, BAKEY 31 days ago](https://obra.art/bakey/i-cant-believe-i-loved-her-the-rainfall-mix) Most played ## Most played [01 International Man Champion, BAKEY, Jamakabi 1.319.716 1,3 M](https://obra.art/bakey/international-man) [02 Wouldn't Believe BAKEY 821.931 822 K](https://obra.art/bakey/wouldnt-believe) [03 AM TO PM BAKEY, Capo Lee 686.826 687 K](https://obra.art/bakey/am-to-pm-2) [04 Last One - Radio Edit BAKEY 587.726 588 K](https://obra.art/bakey/last-one-radio-edit) [05 Block & Delete - Edit Emz, Sam Binga, BAKEY 487.819 488 K](https://obra.art/bakey/block-and-delete-edit) [06 Fool Me Twice BAKEY 460.606 461 K](https://obra.art/bakey/fool-me-twice) [07 Fool Me Twice BAKEY 460.606 461 K](https://obra.art/bakey/fool-me-twice-2) [08 Senses BAKEY 326.909 327 K](https://obra.art/bakey/senses-2) [09 Senses BAKEY 326.909 327 K](https://obra.art/bakey/senses) [10 Serious Mic Man - Bakey VIP Mix BAKEY, Capo Lee 305.333 305 K](https://obra.art/bakey/serious-mic-man-bakey-vip-mix) Has worked with ## 15 artists. and 1 more Catalog ## 20 releases. 2026 2 [I Can’t Believe I Loved Her (The Rainfall Mix) (Extended)Peven Everett, BAKEY · 53 K](https://obra.art/bakey/i-cant-believe-i-loved-her-the-rainfall-mix-extended) [I Can’t Believe I Loved Her (The Rainfall Mix)Peven Everett, BAKEY · 44 K](https://obra.art/bakey/i-cant-believe-i-loved-her-the-rainfall-mix) 2025 5 [TributeBAKEY · 1,0 M](https://obra.art/bakey/tribute) 1,0 M [Fool Me TwiceBAKEY · 461 K](https://obra.art/bakey/fool-me-twice-2) [SensesBAKEY · 327 K](https://obra.art/bakey/senses) [BACKROOMSBAKEY · 348 K](https://obra.art/bakey/backrooms) [UNDER CONTROLBAKEY · 182 K](https://obra.art/bakey/under-control-2) 2024 5 [PercentAge (BAKEY Remix)B-ahwe, Sunny Reyne, BAKEY · 113 K](https://obra.art/bakey/percentage-bakey-remix) 113 K [Wouldn't BelieveBAKEY · 822 K](https://obra.art/bakey/wouldnt-believe) [International ManChampion, BAKEY, Jamakabi · 1,3 M](https://obra.art/bakey/international-man) [WannitBAKEY · 54 K](https://obra.art/bakey/wannit) [Block & Delete - EditEmz, Sam Binga, BAKEY · 488 K](https://obra.art/bakey/block-and-delete-edit) 2023 5 [AM TO PMBAKEY, Capo Lee · 1,5 M](https://obra.art/bakey/am-to-pm) 1,5 M [Keep it Moving9TRANE, Riko Dan, BAKEY · 112 K](https://obra.art/bakey/keep-it-moving) [Binga & BakeySam Binga, BAKEY · 409 K](https://obra.art/bakey/binga-and-bakey) [Last One - Extended MixBAKEY · 75 K](https://obra.art/bakey/last-one-extended-mix) [Last One - Radio EditBAKEY · 588 K](https://obra.art/bakey/last-one-radio-edit) 2022 3 [Taz & - Bakey RemixFrankel & Harper, BAKEY · 50 K](https://obra.art/bakey/taz-and-bakey-remix) [Blocked - Bakey DubSoul Mass Transit System, Killa P, BAKEY · 150 K](https://obra.art/bakey/blocked-bakey-dub) [Way Back When (Bakey Remix)Daffy & PJ Bridger, BAKEY · 25 K](https://obra.art/bakey/way-back-when-bakey-remix) Milestones · 2 milestones 8M ### BAKEY Sep 2026 1M ### Tribute BAKEY Oct 2026 Catalog · Notes · Curatorial Bio BAKEY is a London-born, Bristol-based DJ and producer at the sharp end of UK bass — UK garage, breakbeat, bassline, jungle and funky low-end built for sound systems.
