Bákayan
Bákayan (Burak) is a Toronto-based producer and DJ working at the warm, melodic end of organic house, indie dance and melodic house. His emotive, percussive, jazz-tinged productions have landed on tastemaker imprints including Get Physical, Maccabi House and Gardens of Babylon, and in 2024 he launched his own imprint, Ala Bora, with the single 'Voices.' A fixture on the global organic-house circuit — with standout sets at Burning Man 2024 and The Gardens of Babylon — he releases new music almost monthly and curates the 'Get Physical Radio' mix series. His sound blends hypnotic grooves with transportive, deeply melodic textures designed to feel as immersive on headphones as on a festival floor. He tours internationally and carries 37k+ monthly listeners on Spotify.
