Bio

Baalti are Mihir Chauhan and Jaiveer Singh, a producer and DJ duo making warm, sample-heavy underground dance music rooted in South Asian sounds. Both grew up in India and met in college at 18 before relocating to the United States, where they began producing electronic music together. Their highly percussive, rhythm-driven house blends UK-influenced club music with fragments of early-'80s Indian disco, Bollywood and Lollywood samples, and instrumentation drawn from their Indian heritage. They were named to Mixmag's Top 25 Breakthrough DJs of 2023 and featured in Rolling Stone India's Future of Music 2025, and have played club-music hubs including New York, London, Berlin and Amsterdam. Recent releases include the 2026 album 'Threads' alongside singles '123', 'Jab Se' and 'Ipa Ma'. Booking is handled by Wasserman Music (NA) and Earth Agency (EU/UK).
