B-Side is a German beatmaker, photographer, and professional audio engineer who has been making instrumental hip hop since his teens — starting with jungle and drum & bass in 2007 after his cousin introduced him to Fruity Loops. The name came from flipping samples into the B-side of a track, and over 15+ years it became a defining alias alongside his collaborative project blnkspc_ with TESK. He has amassed 200M+ streams across DSPs, with releases on Stereofox Records, Chillhop Music, and Urban Waves, plus editorial support on 100+ Spotify playlists including lofi beats, Jazz Vibes, Mellow Beats, and lush lofi. Beyond his own catalog, Lukas works as a mixing and mastering engineer for brands including Adidas, Amazon Music, COLORS Studios Berlin, Universal, and RTL. His 2026 output stays active with new singles and the escapism EP on Stereofox, blending dusty chillhop production, warm synths, and woozy guitars.
