Arky Waters

PRODUCER · DJ · SONGWRITER

Arky Waters is a Sydney-based DJ/producer shaping Australia’s bass underground — drum & bass, UK garage, breaks, and dubstep filtered through a late-night club lens. After coming up through rock bands and bedroom production, he broke through with the Johera EP and a run of club singles (UGETME?, OMG, Run It Up, Just) on Mammal Sounds Records, earning support from triple J and MixMag AU. His debut album Holdin’ On (July 2026) is a journal of that shift into communal dancefloor energy; as he puts it, bass music changed how he thinks about sound design — “shaping frequencies and soundwaves themselves.” Drawing comparisons to Bicep, Overmono, and Jamie xx while carving a distinctly Australian take on UK club culture, he’s opened for Buunshin, G Jones, and Eprom and launched the LP with a show at Sydney’s Unholy Playhouse. Active across Instagram, TikTok, SoundCloud, and his own site, he’s a mid-tier producer with a growing catalog and clear professional momentum.
