Aran Sheehy
Aran Sheehy is a Dublin-based Irish electronic producer, composer, and live modular-synth artist, and the owner of Weasel Studios in Dublin 5. Named a wave-making Irish producer by Hot Press, his work bridges euphoric club energy with cinematic sound design — from atmospheric jungle and breakcore to space ambient — often inspired by PS1/PS2-era game soundtracks and 90s hardware culture. His debut album Overseer (2025) charts ten tracks across ten electronic genres and earned Hot Press praise; the Blakkheart collab There Is A Mermaid Using The Computer was voted Song of the Year by BBC Radio Introducing. In 2026 he has been releasing steadily under his own name and jungle alias Decoy Octopus (including Demo One and singles like Fission Mailed, High Speed Chase, and Shadow Moses). His music has been featured on Kiss FM, iHeartRadio, NTS France, and RTÉ. He also freelances as a games composer and producer helping artists get Spotify-ready masters.
